| going to apply for my permit to sell/exhibit class 3 wildlife, The fist question on the form is the hardest. Name. Name?Name? what? I ve gotta come up with a nae for the world to know me by, oh crap. What to do? Idon't want a lame name David Tessaro Reptiles is not on the list. Daves Balls, or Daves got herps are also out. I can think f a bunch of names I dont want and few or none I do want. So I looking for suggestions. Cretaceous Creatures is one I came up with,I know I said not lame, but its the best I can do. My wife said what does cretaceous mean, I had to explain. She says the common person wont know what it relates to, or how to spell it, I need something catchy that easy to remember.
Thanks, D | |

| Only fill out personal part and leave the buisness part blank if you don't have one already. It goes mainly by your address. | |

| I have sent an email to FWC to ask them what they want, I would hate to get my permit, only to have to get a new one with the business name on it. In the meantime Im going to move forward on the busniess Lisc. portion, for that I will need a name. | |

| That makes sense, if I were just a person, but I want a legit business, personal free permit yes, I can see just your own name, but I think they want the business name cuz if someone calls in a complaint on WTexotics FWC wont know who that is if the owner only put their personal name on the permit. this premit asks for business name and owner/contact name. The no cost premit only asks for your name.
here is a link to sell\exhibit app.

| you may be refering to the critical incedent disaster plan, that must be filled out to obtain both types of permits, there is a place for a business name and if you were getting a no-cost personal permit you would leave it blank. She did tell me it was the no-cost permit she is getting, where is she tonight anyway, she is usually on by now? | |

| All you have to do is put your name on the permit and if and when you come up with a business name you can update the info with FWC. If they give you any grief over it which I doubt then just sell under your name and when you renew the next year change the information then. FWC also wants you to continually update them on the number and types of animals you have which most people just do the one time of year when you have to list what you have on the permit renewal. | |

| I think I'm understanding the process better now
Step 1 register fictious name at sunbiz.org pay 50$ Step 2 obtain permits, in this case class 3 exhibit/sell 50$ step 3 obtain county Lisc. 75$???
somewhere in there I need to get a fed id number, too I think | |

| In Duval County I believe you should check into a Peddlers License since to get a regular business license in Duval Cty. They want you to go to the zoning board and get proof that you can run a business out of your home which is difficult to get depending on who you talk to at the zoning and planning department. The peddlers license also allows for selling anywhere in the county which the standard business license really doesn't. Also to top it all off if they havn't changed things the peddlers license is less expensive. And if you are getting your class 3 permit make sure that you don't want to get the ROC permit because I believe that if you get them at the same time it is $100 total versus $150 if done separately. | |

| I think the reason people use thier name and reptiles like Joe momma reptiles, is cuz it doesn't have to br registered as a fictious name, it's 50 to register and 80 to run it in the newspaper, a requirent. I have to make acall to verify this but I think that's how it works | |
