Flexwatt heat tape

Does anyone know where to buy this directly, the best place i know of is The Bean Farm. I want to buy it where they buy it, but thats hard to find. 2.50 a foot gets expensive. If you buy more than 50' you get a small discount. I need 16' if any one else needs some.

bigappleherp carries it too but at about the same price per foot. Lemme talk to the Rob and see if he wants to get some and remove the animals from the heated closet. It would cut down on our heat bill that's for sure.

I tried a few years back to find were it comes from, but didn't have much luck. I think it is used in plumber to wrap pipes so they don't freeze. I could very likely be wrong. Let me know if you go to order I might want some and know some one else that might.

Don't know if they still make or sell it, but there was one size/watt of heat tape that has bad ratings. It was the 3 or 4 inch that had 2 watt sizes. The higher watt was the bad one.

I read about the plumming too, I also read that up in Yankee land they use it under the floor so their feet don't get cold in winter

Do you know any plummer?

I work with many everyday, however there is not much use for that product down here. Around here they use a different type I think it is similar to what we call heat cable
