| I'm having a hard time keeping humidity levels up in my reptile room. they usually run no lower than 60%. However with the heaters running its hard to keep it above 40%. I ve put a bowl of water on the radiator type heater. this doesnt help much, I ve misted 2 gallons of water over the last two days. While that raises levels to 50% or more for a short time it wont do any good while Im at work. Humidity levels are slightly higher in tanks, But I have several balls in shed now, and I hate blown sheds! Any advice would be great, keep in mind I have close to 40 animals so soaking each one is not a practical option, also my snake room is seperate from the house so I try to maintain correct temps/humidity in the entire room. Thanks D | |

| Try a humidifier. Just read a little about them first to see how good they are and how big of a room they cover. What are you using for bedding and tanks/tubs? | |

| I use both tubs and tanks. The tubs are good they maintain well, but are poor for display. I use aspen bedding in the tanks. will look for a humidifier at wal mart.
thanks, D | |

| Have you covered part of the tanks top with plastic or something like it to help hold in the humidity? | |

| Saran wrap FTW on the tanks. I have clear packing tape on the screen lids for anything with legs. I don't suggest it for snakes though. you could even pretty it up by buying the colored stuff. | |

| not really a pretty up kind of guy, thinking about just putting them in tubs. That seem like it wont work real good with the sliding lids, maybe Im just not pictureing it right. | |

| Should work alright, just don't use a towel to cover the screen. It'll just wick the moisture out of the tank. | |
