On January 6th 2009, Martha Stewart had a guy on to bring awareness to the python Ban, he had a 15' retic morph, a water monitor and barbary lions. This guy on there was pimping his new show on animal planet called Recon. It was good to see some one on TV with our point of view. It is strange that the target audience was women though.

WOW the women remark might get a bad reply or two.

Could but instead I'm going to say that we need more women in the hobby. Also, Tracy Barker could probably kick D's butt.

I wasn't knocking women, it's just i feel whe need to target 20-40 year old males as they have the highest voter turnout and they probobly make up the bulk of the herp community, remember as USARK pounds in to our heads "there's strength in numbers" I'm glad martha did that, if we really want to go "mainstream" so to say we need to get on Oprah. That would be some great pub. Plus there are millions of man haters that follow her like a puppy.

The show is called Wild Recon its on animal planet the guys name is Donald Schultz it is on tomorrow night at 7. He will be searching for animals that are being threatened with extinction by the cane toad in Austrailia.

I'd like to have a cane toad. They're pretty awesome.

Animal expert plans 10-day Vegas stay with snakes

LAS VEGAS -- An expert in deadly animals is planning to stay for 10 days inside a box full of snakes at a Las Vegas Strip casino as part of a reality television show.

Donald Schultz will enter the clear glass box outside O'Sheas Casino on Sunday, starting with 50 snakes inside. Plans call for five new snakes to be added to the box each day until there are 100 snakes - including cobras, pythons and rattlesnakes.

The stunt will be filmed for Animal Planet's "Wild Recon" series.

I just want to know what Whopper is doing watching Martha Stewart.

I want to see how they present it on the tv special, are they going to say, look nothing to be scared of snakes a great wonderful creaters, or will they say, look at me I stayed in a box of deadly snake and barely surived, I am so brave, of course the worst thing that can happen is on night when he awkes and has to run to the can he steps on a mambe it bites he dies, that would be just great for the hobbie.

they are testing strike speed of diff snakes now to figur out what has the fastest strike

I'm watching snakebytes, trying to catch up on old episodes.
