| At what size is it ok to house baby corn snakes together, I see it in pet stores alot, but I housed two together a few months ago and found that one had eaten the other. Most people ask are you sure? Yes I'm sure the lone snake was huge, then a few days later I found a gross partly digested regurged snake in the tub. They were never fed together, and they both were eating fine. Why did this happen? Now I have 6 or 7 babies, and was wanting to house them together to save some space and tubs. Corns are a new side project i am dabbleing in, and I still cant find my kathy love book. | |

| Corns/rats aren't the brightest snakes out there, they have the tendency to eat first and ask questions later. The only reason pet stores do that is because it saves space, makes cleaning easier and the snakes are cheap and easy to replace. | |

| A lot of colubrids will try to eat anything they can catch which is why a lot of them eat a variety of foods including frogs, toads, fish, small mammals, birds and their eggs. They're eating machines. | |
