| On January 12, Lieutenants Pat Reynolds, Jay Marvin and Manny Pomares participated in the agency sanctioned python hunt. There were fifty-two registered python hunters, some of which were from other concerned county, state, and federal agencies. Four exotic snakes were captured that day, the largest measuring approximately twelve and one-half feet. On a successive day, four more exotic snakes were captured, the largest measuring twelve feet long. | |

| Wow, Then they are right. The place is swamped with burm. I'm suprised they could walk around there without falling over one. | |

| This came off the fwc website, notice it does not say what types of snakes where found, for all we know they found 8 of those blind snakes, I wish it was a more detailed report, size, location, approx age, species. | |

| 8 nonnatives of some sort, I'm betting Burms or Retics. The one population of Boa constrictor imperator has been there since I believe the 70s and hasn't expanded at all. | |
